Carol Ann was born to Eugene Graydon Welch and Evelyn Lopas Welch, and was a native Houstonian attending Lamar High School and The University of Houston. Carol worked at Southwestern Bell for more than 25 years before retiring in 2003.
Carol is survived by her son, Chuck; and her grandson, Peyton; her cousin, Terry Lopas and his wife Marsha, and their children, Tim, Brian, and Melissa.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from eleven o'clock in the morning until noon on Friday, the 12th of December, in the drawing room of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
The interment is to follow at half-past twelve o'clock in the afternoon, at Glenwood Cemetery, 2525 Washington Avenue in Houston.
A memorial service is to then commence at two o'clock in the afternoon, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, followed by a reception in the adjacent grand foyer.
