Carolyn Novella Cole

Carolyn Novela Cole, born on April 7, 1941, passed away on August 28, 2018. She was the daughter of Ottis & Verna Faulkner. Carol was born in Alabama and moved to Texas in 1962. Carol, with her meek and quiet spirit, has been a servant to God's people for many years. She had many friends and loved ones, who knew her as their friend.

Her career started as a Cosmetologist. She was a leader in customer service at Nappco Fastners Co., Fulbright & Jaworski, LLP and lastly Brookside Funeral Home. Throughout her life, she rescued and loved many pets. She attended Gospel Assembly and was committed to her faith in Christ. She freely shared wisdom with others and firmly believed, “The Lord will not put more on you than you can bear”.

Her memories will be cherished by her only son, Kenneth Ray Cole and wife Teresa, three loving grandsons: Kenny Ray and wife Ashley, Dustin & Dalton Cole; great-grandchildren: Otto & Owen Cole; sisters: Nelda Wilkerson & husband Rusty, Beverly O'Neal & husband James; nephews: Ricky Wilkerson and wife Kim; Cody & Dakota Wilkerson, J.T. O'Neal, Jr., her three loving pets: Ginger, Gigi & Gidget and extended family.
