Nu Thi Nguyen was born in Phat Diem,Vietnam, on February 20, 1931. Alongside her 5 siblings, she was raised by her mother Bang Nguyen and her father Binh Nguyen. She entered Heaven’s gates on April 23, 2015 at 4:30PM in Houston, Texas.

She was united in marriage to Hoc Thi Nguyen on June 2, 1949 in Hai Phong, Vietnam. He entered Heaven’s gate on March 17, 1974 in Vietnam. They were married for 66 blissful years.

Mrs. Nguyen has an unwavering faith in God and care for her family. She was a member of the Dong Ba Da Minh, Cong Giao Cac Ba Me, and Doan Tong Do Fatima in Houston, Texas. She was a dedicated member of the Catholic Church of Our Lady of Fatima. She and her 5 children left Vietnam on April 30, 1975 to start their new lives in United States.

● Thuy Thai Nguyen(son-surviving) & Mai Nguyen (son’s wife) + children & grandchildren

● Ty Thai Nguyen(son-surviving) & Hong Nguyen(son’s wife) + children

● Lien Thi Nguyen(daughter-surviving) & Tien Nguyen (daughter’s husband) + children

● Binh Nguyen (son-surviving) + children & grandchildren `

Mrs. Nguyen was a proud mother to five children, sixteen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Nu thought her greatest legacy was her religious contribution and her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nu was a consummate mother and homemaker and an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. Her eyes would light up at gatherings especially chasing after her great grandkids.
