Cathleen was born in Shakopee, Minnesota to Louis and Genevieve Steinhoff on January 21st, 1944. She was one of 8 children, growing up with her beloved brothers James, Jerome, Walley, Louis and Cletus, as well as her sisters Virgilla Geske and Bridget Mosser.
Cathleen was a family woman who shared a life with Neil Larson, and was a mom to Mickie Moos, Donald Larson, Stacie Lehmann, and Erin Dohany. Her proudest moment was when Neil's three children gave her a hug at the same time and told her they loved her. Her grandchildren are Wesson, Dalton, Taylor, Parker, and Easton Moos, Bailey, Evelyn, and Coli-Jo Lehmann, Carter Glick, Ayden Dohany, Donnelly and Lachlan Larson. She is survived by her husband Neil and extraordinary children, and is preceded in death by her beloved grandparents William and May Steinhoff, and Jacob and Theresa Klehr.
She manufactured hearing aids for Maico Hearing Instruments in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was the hearing aid assembly line lead for behind the ear and in the ear devices.
Cathleen loved doing things around the house such as gardening, hosting parties, sitting on the boat and swimming in Lake Travis all weekend, traveling, going on cruises, loving on puppies, and "getting all dressed up to go out and look attractive" for Neil. Two of Cathleen's simpler pleasures were joking around and partying after work at the local bar, and of coarse crocheting. Her earliest ambitions were to be happy and be in love, as well as being cherished by her husband and being taken care of forever. Neil certainly did not let her down in those wishes. One of the things she loved most was when Neil would come home with the most beautiful roses to give her.
Cathleen wants to be remembered for her love of throwing parties at home and having the place for meals set with her finest dining ware and furnishings.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.brooksidechampions.com for the Larson family.
