

Cecil Johnson was a devoted hard working father, husband, son, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather, and cousin. He was a good man. Always fair and honest with everyone he met. He was hard working and instilled those values in his children. He will always be remembered for his kind heart and endless supply of wisdom.
Cecil graduated from Magnolia High School. He met Brenda Faye Alissa in Houston and married on May 26, 2018. He was married to Dianna for 26 years. They had 2 children. Cecil was married to Debra for 28 years. They had 1 son. Cecil was married to Brenda for 5 years. He worked for the US Post Office, and later became a Houston Police Officer. He owned his own security company for several years before working as a manager of Twin City Security. He retired with over 35 years at Twin City Security. Cecil loved to go fishing. He loved his family, especially his wife and children. He was a Christian and loved to read his bible. One of the many things he often told his children was “We are so very blessed”.
Cecil was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Thomas Johnson and Dorothy Adell Johnson; brother, Jefferson Eugene Johnson; wife, Debra Washington; great granddaughter, Malibu Haze Sudderth.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Alissa-Johnson; sons, Jacoby Brown, and Cecil Johnson (Kristi); daughter, Debra Froelich (Paul); stepson, Mahmoud Alissa; brother, Thomas Johnson (Dee Ann); sister-in-law, Vicki Johnson; grandchildren, Kasey Tyroch (Marc), Heather Bishop (Colby), Stefani Gist (Kevin), Charles McCoy (Hayley), Jonathan Froelich (Abryanna), Tristian McKeown (Jack), and Devin Froelich; great grandchildren, Colton, Kylie, Elijah, Kairi, Madelynn, Skye, Blayne, Lillian, Zoey, Cashton, Chloe, Axel, Raegan, Elzie, Ryatt, and Theodore; great great grandchild, Magnolia.
A memorial service for CW will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
