Cecilia B Nunez

Cecilia B Nunez, 72, born on August 21, 1953, in Ciudad Juarez Chihuahua Mexico, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025, at her home in Friendswood Texas surrounded by her loving family. She was a cherished daughter of Jose & Teresa Bocanegra and a sister to twelve siblings.

She was a devoted loving homemaker, whose greatest joy and dedication were her children, grandchildren and family whom she adored with unconditional love and support. She dedicated her life to nurturing her family and her faith as a Jehovah Witness where she found strength, purpose and community. She was a great cook and was always amazingly quick to prepare a meal for any/all who visited. She had a very generous caring heart and would give her last cent to whoever needed it.

She is survived and lovingly remembered by her seven children, Ruben, Claudia, Hector, Luis, Joe, Cesar, Jonathan, fifteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren and seven siblings.

A visitation for Cecilia will be on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 1pm to 5pm with the Memorial Service to begin at 2:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo located at 4136 Broadway St., Houston, Texas 77087.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to her son, Cesar Nunez, the sole provider for his family who recently suffered a severe car accident and now requires months of intensive physical therapy, or to any family in need, in her memory.
