Fort Worth-Celestia Evelyn Zaring went to be with her heavenly Father and her husband Bob on Wednesday March 2, 2011. Service: 12:30 P.M. on Tuesday, March 8 at Pat H. Foley, Visitation on Monday, March 7 from 6-8 P.M. and at 11:30 A.M. on Tuesday, March 8. Memorials: In lieu of flowers please send donations to Evelyn's last church home, Travis Avenue Baptist Church, 800 West Berry St., Fort Worth, Texas 76110. Evelyn was born in Capitol Heights, Maryland, June 9, 1916. She was the daughter of Claude Asberry Nolen and Ila Mae Butts Nolen. She graduated from Reagan High School in Houston in 1934. She met her future husband Robert Parker Zaring at Reagan, and they married on April 14, 1939. Evelyn, who was a long time member of Baptist Temple was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, and her best friend Lurvine Herbert. Survivors: Daughter, Pat Liles and husband Cleo; son, David Zaring and wife Linda; Grandchildren: Brad Liles and wife Susan; Leslie Wood and husband Larry; Mike Zaring and wife Ann; and Allison Liles; and six great grandchildren: Cassidy Liles, Luke Wood, Laurel Ann Wood, Lily Wood, Lydia Wood, and Angus Zaring.
