He was preceded in death by his grandson McKallen Mac Jones. He and Beverly married in April 1973.
As a child, he grew up in Arkansas. He loved to fish, played baseball, football and other school sports. Chuck loved music, and played many instruments, including the French horn, trumpet and guitar. He loved to ride his Harleys when not working. Over the years he collected classic cars and motorcycles, and restored and sold or traded many of them.
Chuck started and ran McDaris sheet metal with his dad in Arkansas before starting McDaris AC & Heating in Houston with his son Matt who now oversees the business.
Everyone that knew him, called him Chuck. He was a husband, a father, a papaw, and a great-papaw.
Chuck had a huge heart and love for his family. He greeted everyone with a tight hug. He was the life of the party and enjoyed a cold Bud light. Chuck’s stories will be retold for time to come and he will be forever missed!
A visitation for Charles will be held Monday, February 13, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
