Chris graduated from Port Neches Groves high school in 1981. He met his beloved wife Elizabeth in Houston, and they were married on March 15, 1986. They have a cherished son, Christopher. Chris worked at Air Transportation Continental.
He was preceded in death by Charles Ray Bennefield (father), Lucy Jo Bennefield (mother), Allison Carlson (sister), Willie Mae Bennefield (grandmother), Ashley Bennefield (niece).
He is survived by Elizabeth Bennefield (wife), Christopher and Kristen (son & daughter-in-law), Scott and Julie Bennefield (brother & sister-in-law), Stephen Bennefield (nephew), Whitney Bennefield (niece), Bertha Quinones (mother-in-law), Eva Cerda (sister-in-law), Bertha Gonzalez (sister-in-law), Carmen Pastrano (sister-in-law), Rosalie Flores (sister-in-law), Irene DeLeon (sister-in-law).
A visitation for Christian will be held Friday, January 17, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, followed by a funeral service at 2:30 PM.
