Cora M. Herring, 88, passed away on February 19, 2018 in Spring, Texas. She was born July 31, 1929 in Brookhaven, Mississippi. Cora is survived by her children: Gerald F. Herring & wife Cynthia, Jimmy J. Herring & wife Elizabeth, Charles Clayton Herring & wife Tina, and Drew A. Herring & wife Anna; brother: V.J. Mullen; grandchildren: Melissa Belmonte & husband Eric, Courtney Schunneman, Jason Herring, Kyle Herring, Jonathan Herring, Kelsey Herring, Christopher Herring; great grandchildren: Ryan Herring, Luke Schunneman, Christian Herring, Lanniey Schunneman, Kellie Koerth, William Rains, Matthew Rains, and Nicolas Rains; nieces: Lisa Dossett & husband Steve and family, Amy Mullen and family; nephews: VJ. Mullen, Jr. and family, Tony Mullen and family. Visitation for family and friends will begin on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 12pm to 2pm with the funeral service beginning at 2pm at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Fwy. Houston, Texas 77039. Interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
