It saddens me so much that Chris has left this physical world.   However, I am so fortunate to have had the pleasure of knowing her.   I am lucky to call her a friend. 
 She was the appitamy of what a positive attitude is.   She always had a beautiful, warm, smile on her face. Even when exhausted, she smiled and looked on the bright side of life.   She was the hardest worker I have ever seen!  She poured her heart into giving her best, no matter what the task.   She was, and is, a bright star, she will shine forever. You are truly missed, my friend but you will always have a special place in my heart and memories. 

Siempre fue una mujer fuerte. La recuerdo como una mujer firme y una madre excelente. Ayudó mucho a mis hermanos y a mi papá,  y por eso siempre le estaré agradecido. Su legado vive a través de sus hijos,  a quienes envío mucho amor. 

Mi dear ma... Fuiste una gran persona, amable, alegre y generosa, me dejaste muchas enseñanzas y recuerdos de tantos momentos hermosos que compartimos a lo largo de los años.
Tu partida nos deja a muchos una gran tristeza, pero dicen que de lo bueno se sirve Dios. 
Te extraño mucho, hermosa. 

Te nos adelantaste en el camino pero un día nos volveremos a ver fuiste una exelente amiga compartimos lunadas cumples y siempre una mujer muy trabajadora descansa en paz

Una gran madre,hija,hermana,tía,cuñada,amiga sin duda una gran persona.

Cris was the most kind hearted person I have ever met.  She always had a positive attitude and just cheered everyone up with her rediant smile.   She loved the East End so much and considered it her home.  She specially loved the trees that cared and watered every day.  

She also raised a great family that mirror her positive attitude.  Cris will definitely be missed by all us at the District, her friends and family.  

I hope to see you in heaven someday my friend.

Cris will always be remembered for her beautiful, endless smiles and her many kindnesses to everyone she met and greeted. She’s left her mark in Houston’s East End with each beautification project and program she participated in, always eager to help and share the workload with an enthusiasm that couldn’t be matched.
