

Curtis Marshall Lee, age 82, of Spring Texas went to join his loving wife of 58 years on Friday evening, March 6, 2020. Curtis was born on January 23, 1938 in Beaumont, Texas to Donald Curtis Lee and Ethel St. John. Curtis joined the Air Force after High School where he trained in air traffic control. Curtis went to work for the Federal Aviation Administration as an air traffic controller upon his release from active duty in February 1959. He was able to retire in January 1986 as the youngest tower chief in the history of the FAA from Houston Intercontinental Airport.
On January 21, 1961, Curtis married Pat Jane Burgin. Together they raised two daughters Natalie and Karen. His many interests included travel, photography, golfing and coaching fastpitch softball. Curtis is preceded in death by his wife Pat and brother Donnel Earl Lee. He is survived by his two children Natalie and Karen and Karen's husband Don Randolph, including three grandchildren Eric, Lauren, and Hannah. Curtis is also survived by his sister Betty Morton, his nephew Curtis Morton, wife Holly and their son Jack and nephew Michael Morton and wife Mitzi.
