You were always the shining light in the dark tunnel. Whenever there was a time in which people where down you always seemed to maintain a smile and a positive attitude. I remember you always would want at least 12 high fives from me before I sat down, that always put a smile on my face. I worked at B&N Salon when I met Damien and the family. I notice that his hat collection was waaay better than mine..lol. He was a pleasant young man with a smile out of this world! To the family, let not your heart be troubled. Damien is in a better place with God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. He have a NEW life now! I pray God comfort you all. Hi Bro! this Sis writing, I'm so glad that God choose our family for Q to be a part of because that meant we would be in the company of "The Lord's Angel" known as "Damien". I loved that when ever I saw you, you just lite up. I would say, " What are you laughing and smiling about Damien" and you would say, "you", but I knew what you were really smiling about- "All the Women" in your company. Seeing women fuss all over you, made your day. You always had alot of pretty women around you. You were the man of every hour, no other man could take that away from you! And when my girls came on this earth, you welcome them with open arms. You were proud to let them call you "Uncle Damien". WE will treasure that always. They never saw an disable uncle, only a loving uncle. They loved everything about you and so did I. My heart doesn't cry, it smiles because I know that your in a better place. You keep smiling and dancing up there, because that's what you do "BEST". I never end a message with good-bye, but " JUST SMILE"- SIS!

The Late Danibelle Hall wrote the song "Ordinary People" years ago--that says "Little becomes much, when you place it in the Lord's hands". 

I was so very honored when Damien's mother and sister asked me to assist with his "Celebration of Life" service! 

Damien didn't experience a challenge-free life, but after giving his life to The Lord at an early age, he accomplished much because he placed his little--in The Lords hands. 

He is now free from all limitations, so the family can now be comforted, that he is no longer suffering at all. 

May God continue to bless and comfort the DeVold family.

Damien you will all ways be in my heart . I remember when he was just 9 years old and I cut his hair for the first time, I think Damien look for me every week to cut is hair. To me he was a very strong young man he all ways keep a smile on his face. gone but he will never be forgot.

LeeEster, I know I didn't get to spend much time with Damien as I did with you and Q but I can tell you that in the little time I did spend with and around him,he left an indelible mark in my heart.
