Danny Dean Beck entered into rest on September 3, 2021 in his home in Cypress, Texas with his family surrounding him. He was born in Grants Pass, Oregon to the parents of Dale Lewis Beck, a long-haul semi-truck driver and Johnette Wastella DeFur. He was raised alongside his sister Marilyn.
He is survived by his mother: Johnette Pearman, his sister: Marilyn Lewandowski, his children: Edward Lewis Beck, Alexandria Mikhaylov, and Jacqueline Anne Bennett, grandchildren: Aliyah Mikhaylov, Andrey Mikhaylov, Elijah Bennett, Ezra Bennett, and Silas Bennett.
Danny Dean Beck, was also known as Dan, Daniel, grandpa, Super Star, and Daddy-O was a one-of-a-kind guy. Dan was diagnosed only a short 4 months ago with pancreatic cancer of which initially was stage 1 until they went inside and found stage 3 which quickly progressed to terminal. He still remained a trooper throughout all of his surgeries, chemotherapy and hospital stays.
His humor and laughter always brought the crowd alive. He had a smile that was positively contagious and a laugh you couldn’t avoid to join. Anyone who knew Dan had nothing but kind positive words to say. Dan had a big heart for his family, friends and strangers alike. He would offer work to the poor for a meal and a place to stay. His friends were as different as the colors of the rainbow that he has obtained over the years that he would welcome into his home. He would go out of his way to visit his grandparents, family, and friends even if it meant driving across the US to see them. He enjoyed celebrating holidays, gatherings and going on many vacations with friends and family. Dan had his own way of acquiring things throughout his life which mainly consisted of obtaining more friends than materials. Dan had many mottos and sayings that will be left behind. When his children would ask a question he would say, “If, we’ll see and maybe; and “the bottom line is”. He had a true unique character with a wonderful witty personality.
His life here on earth was cut short much sooner than he or any of us thought; but as our Dan would always say; “the Lord works in mysterious ways.” We may not know the reason he was taken so soon but God only knows for now.
Dan will never be forgotten and will always be remembered…
