It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Danielle Nieto, who departed this life at home on Sunday morning, August 10th, 2025, at the age of 52, after a ferocious battle with cancer.
Born on April 11, 1973, in New York, Danielle grew up in Brooklyn before making Texas her home a few years later. As a dedicated professional, she excelled in her telecommunications career for over a decade, and later brought that same excellence to the optical and medical field for another 10+ years.
Danielle was the beloved daughter of Donald Yee, the cherished wife of Abraham Nieto, and the devoted mother of Zoe and Zaid. She took immense pride in being Nana to her precious grandchildren: Ava, Liam, and Isaac, who brought endless joy to her heart.
She is also lovingly remembered by her extended family: her caring Aunt Daryl, sister-in-law Belen, mother-in-law Maria (Kuky), her dear niece Shayla, and her faithful companion, Bella, her beloved service dog who was always by her side.
Danielle had the remarkable gift of lighting up every room she entered and was truly the life of every gathering. Her selfless nature, boundless love, and generous spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Though our hearts are broken by her absence, her radiant memory will live on forever in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her beautiful soul.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to a cancer research charity or organization of your choice, honoring Danielle's incredible strength, courage, and enduring spirit in her fight.
