David Bauscher Detweiler passed away on September 19, 2016 in Cypress,TX. He was born on January 14, 1921 in Reading, Pennsylvania. Dave is survived by his daughter, Elise Thomas, daughter-in-law, Anita Detweiler, grandchildren and their spouses,David and Julie Detweiler, Elizabeth and James Jackson, Reid and Michelle Thomas, Kristen and Paul Morrisett, and Stacey Thomas, as well as his six great grandchildren, Weston, Grant and Thomas Morrisett, Tyland Jackson, and Henry and Audrey Detweiler. He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Detweiler and son, C. David Detweiler. Dave adored his wife and family and lived life filled with love. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America in Dave’s honor. A funeral is being held at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Rd. at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, Septermber 22nd.
