Coming up on 7 years baby boy. 7 years. I know you have the best seat in the house and have got to watch the craziness of everyone’s lives unfold. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t miss you. Your dad comes over for family dinner time to time and I love when he’s there. Him and my dad are taking on my bf in basketball haha can you believe it?  Make sure you hold them both up so they don’t twist their ankles! Anyways, I was just thinking of you. Your dad and sister (and mom) are always on my mind a bit more around this time. I’m sure you’re proud of your dad, and your sister for how much they accomplished, grown and stayed strong. The last thing i said to you at home was , " I'm going to the park , and you replied , " ok , from the other side of the bathroom door.  THe last thing i said to later that night," Daddy loves you, Mom and Alexis are on their way" , as i put my hand on your shoulder, after the paramedic said " you can touch him. I wonder if he knew.That was three years ago to the day. Since then Sonny,  my heart , soul , mind and body have hurt. I think of you everyday, what was and what couls have been .Miss you so much. They say time heals all wounds , they must mean physical wounds.  Everyday i;m greatful for the  more twenty one and  half years i got to be the father on a son with the haert of gold.We were together at your birth and together when you went to be with your heavenly  father. David as time passes by I realize god calls home early his strongest angels ! He loved to talk about the Texans, Rockets and Astros with my son Josh and he was also very polite and nice to me.
