David Allen Reed Sr.

Born July 10,1947 to Hattie Mae Luckett and Overton Reed. David is the third child of four children born in Beaumont, Tx. He Graduated from Charlton Pollard Senior High class of 1965. Shortly after graduation David alongside his Cousin Sydney Reed enlisted in the services. David followed the path of the U.S Marine Corp. Serving in Vietnam until 1969 Returning home a Purple Heart Veteran he started a family his oldest Daughter Rickie Rene Reed, oldest son Charles Reed, youngest daughter Stephanie Michelle Reed, and his youngest son David Allen Reed Jr.

Throughout his life David held many different working positions finally settling into a position as a Professional Drycleaner. A trait he learned from his brother in-law Jimmy Brooks. Using those skills to continue a career of thirty plus years. Taking pride in all the work he did over the years creating a name for his self as “Mr. David”. He is truly blessed with an extended work family. Who have been so supportive and kind throughout these years.

Anyone who knows David Sr. knows how much of a jokester he is. He loved to make everyone laugh. With his stories for any occasion and jokes about everything and anything. Great stories that only he could tell. He loves his family and his faith The love he had for his family his loving wife Bobbie Rose Reed, his sister Janice Thompson, his Grandchildren Lonnie Allen Reed, Terrance Darks , Theresa Darks, Devan Aundre Reed, Priscilla Marissa Reed ,John Johnson, Darrion Brooks, Charles Calvin, Toccora Coleman, Alyssa Gamble, Jasmin McDaniel, Kiara Turner, Jessica Johnson, Erica Johnson, Sharde Reed , Mariah Reed and a host of great grandchildren and loving family members.
