David moved with his family to Da Nang and later studied pharmacy in Saigon. During the Vietnam War, David provided blood donations to help his countrymen.
In 1974, with only a few hundred dollars to his name and a Bible in his hands, David came to the United States. His first job in America was at General Electric in Seattle, WA. Four years later David met his wife and had two children. David introduced the word of God into their lives and had them baptized so they would become “children of God”.
In 1990, David received his pharmacy license and would work in retail pharmacy for two decades before retiring. In his spare time, David enjoyed listening to music and spending time with nature in his garden or on walks along the West Seattle beach.
David is survived by his wife Cham Thi Nguyen, daughter Cindy Nguyen Ta (Kevin James Coe), son Donald Nguyen Ta (Melanie Ann Ta), and grandchildren Henry David Ta and Daisy Hope Ta.
David was a devoted father and grandfather who loved God, family, and country with all his heart.
Rest in peace.
