David (Dave) F. Zebold, 70, of Cypress, TX, passed away on Thursday August 12, 2010 after a long courageous battle with lung cancer. Dave was born in Englewood, New Jersey on October 13, 1939 to Haven and Betty Zebold. Dave was a devout husband and father and an extremely hard worker. Dave was an eagle scout and served his country from 1961–1965 as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed camping, canoeing, building model airplanes, working on projects and always tinkering in the garage. Dave is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carol; his daughters Cheryl A. Zebold of Westfield, MA and Deborah Z. Bain (Barry) of Frisco, TX; son David L. Zebold (Jennifer) of Katy, TX and grandchildren Christopher, Courtney, Addison, and Emery. He is also survived by his sister Janet Gabriel of Dunn, NC. Funeral services will be Friday August 20th at 10:00 AM in the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home Chapel, 13001 Katy Freeway Houston, Texas 77079.
