Deanna Richardson Young passed away Monday, November 24, 2025, at the age of 85. Deanna was born in Webb City, Missouri to Lyman and Lucille Richardson on May 8, 1940. Webb City is where she grew up and attended High school. She later moved to Texas to finish her education at the University of Houston. She raised a family while starting and running a successful State Farm Insurance Agency in Northwest Houston. Deanna loved music. She played and taught piano, played the organ and harp and collected music boxes of all kinds. She dearly loved her family and spending time at the beach with them made her happy.
Deanna was preceded in death by her husband Bryant Young, parents, Lyman and Lucille Richardson, her sons Jeff Byers and Brad Byers and her daughter Jennifer Donaho. She is survived by grandchildren Rachel Byers, Chelsea Honeycutt, Sean Byers, Lucille Tomanek and Skyler Donaho. Along with several great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Fair Haven United Methodist Church , 1330 Gessner Drive at a date TBD.
