

Her parents did their best to treat her just like her brothers with chores, homework, punishments and rewards. She had no problem holding her own with her brothers. They also instilled the mindset of you can be and do whatever you want.
Deborah graduated from McCullough High School in 1986. After graduating high school, she spent a year at The University of Houston. She also went to Texas Paralegal School and earned her Paralegal Certificate. In 1993, she went to work for Continental Airlines as a Reservations Agent, and retired after 20 years.
She was married to Larry L. Carpenter, also called "The Carp", on May 19, 1990. Deborah had a career as a reservations agent for Continental Airlines and later was a fashion model for several nationally-known designers.
Her hobbies have included her niece and nephew, traveling vacation hot spots, swimming with dolphins, parasailing, fishing, attending Professional Bull Riding events, and corresponding with her pro bull riding friends. Deborah was also very active in the handicap community.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Larry L. Carpenter, parents; Les Grayson and his wife Sue and Cecelia Dennis and her husband Harry, brothers; Brad Grayson and Steve Grayson and wife Jana, nieces; Kristen Brown and Alyssa Grayson and nephews, Travis Grayson and Austin Grayson.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 1:00 p.m., July 10, 2017, at Brookside Funeral Home with viewing at 12:00 Noon.
