“I fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I kept the faith” 2 Timothy 4:7.
Now that I am gone, I don’t want you to cry
I don’t want your mind to wonder or ask God why
Know that there is no more suffering and I’m no longer in pain
So, continue on with your lives just the same
In heaven is where I now rest and now my soul is at ease
I’ve finally made it home, I’m finally at peace
So, don’t you cry my love ones and don’t you weep
God had a spot waiting just for me
As I walk into these gates know that I am always looking back
And every memory we’ve shared I’ll always have a track
We will always be connected through spirit the same way we were through flesh
Thank God for my transition and know that I don’t consider going home death
I must now stand before my father face to face
I’ve fought a good fight and I’ve finished the race
I’m going to miss each of you my family and friends
But always know that I love you until we meet again.
Love Deb
