Delia Gil

October 11, 1943 – June 20, 2025

Delia Gil, age 81, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born and raised in a close-knit home filled with warmth and faith, Delia was the beloved daughter of the late Elias R. Gil and Maria Luisa R. Gil. She was preceded in death by her cherished siblings, Elias Eduardo Gil and Aurora Gil, whose memories she held close throughout her life.

She is survived by her loving siblings: Roberto Luis Gil, Ricardo Gil, Ramiro Martin Gil, Matilde Gil, and Elizabeth Gil, who carry forward her legacy of kindness and integrity.

A visitation for Delia will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087. A prayer service will occur Tuesday, June 24, 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087. A committal service will occur Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.

Though she is no longer with us in body, Delia’s spirit lives on in the hearts of all she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
