Dennis LeBlanc Jr., 84 transitioned peacefully on Sunday August 24, 2025, after long suffering from several illness. A devoted husband, caring father and faithful friend, Dennis will be remembered for his megawatt smile, boundless generosity, and humor.
Born on January 18, 1941, in Carencro, Louisiana to Dennis LeBlanc Sr. and Georgiana Bosier as one of 12 children. Dennis retired after almost 40 years in management with NHL Atlas Bradford oil and gas. As a grill master extraordinaire, Dennis was constantly asked to extend his grilling talents beyond the backyard so more of the populace could enjoy his grilling handy work. Along with fine tuning his barbequing skills, Dennis loved all things cars especially the classics and could talk your ear off about any sports known to man.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Gail Johnson-LeBlanc, their children, Cynthia Leblanc (Tiffany, Delany, Roger, Sedairus), Kevin Johnson (Keshia Tate-Johnson, their children and grandchildren), Dennis LeBlanc III (son), Bridgett LeBlanc (Bryan, Brittnee), Stephanie LeBlanc (Chassie, Christopher II, Danielle, Jaydin), Karen “Mike” Johnson. 12 great-grand children and counting, grand-n-laws, two sisters, and a slew of in-laws, extended family and friends who loved him dearly.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to The Kidney Foundation.
Dennis LeBlanc Jr. was a quiet but powerful force of goodness. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know and love him.
