She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched over her eight decades. Her gentle spirit and the warmth she shared with others will remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
Dianna was preceded in death by her husband, Maury Soukup; her daughter, Dana Jeaneane Smith; her parents, Jack and Anna Ruth Roberts; her sister, Jaquelyn R. Smith; her brother-in-law, Cecil Wayne Smith; and her faithful companion of more than 10 years, Abby, her Yorkshire Terrier.
She is survived by her son, Webb R. Bishop and his wife Kelly, her granddaughters, Bailey and Brookie; her brother, Donald E. Roberts and his wife Dianne; and her nieces and nephews, Donna Gale, Tammie, Missy, Donnie, Tiffany, Danny, Patti, Lori, Stacey, and Jennifer, along with their families.
Dianna cherished her family above all else. She will be remembered for her warmth, gentle spirit, and the way she made others feel welcome and cared for. A patient listener and a steady source of support, she offered comfort through both her words and her quiet presence.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—spending time with loved ones, sharing meaningful conversations, and looking after others in thoughtful, everyday ways. Her generous heart and enduring strength touched all who had the privilege of knowing her.
While we grieve her passing, we take comfort in the love she shared and the memories she leaves behind, which will remain with her family and friends always.
A graveside service and interment will be held at Brookside Funeral Home and Memorial Park on May 14th, 2026 at 3:00 PM, followed by a gathering of close friends and family.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the caregivers at Kingwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center for their compassion, kindness, and attentive care during Dianna’s final months.
