He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Josephine Collette Scambray Johnson
Children Travis Johnson and wife, Debbie; Carolyn Martinez and husband, Roland; Brenda Taylor
and husband, Mike and three step-children.7 grandchildren; Derrick, Travis, Rachel, Damon, Ryan,
Reagan and Lindsay;8 great grandchildren; Skylar, Bryce, Cody, Braden, Ryleigh, Rayce, Payne and Presley
and 1 brother, Howard Lindley Johnson. He was predeceased in death by siblings Zonnie Bell Johnson,
Gladys Mintz, Myrl Johnson and Pearl Williamson.
He retired from HL&P in 1985. Served his country in WWII and received two Purple Hearts. He was a
Reserve Deputy Sheriff with Harris County for 33 years and was honored in 1982 as a Reserve Deputy
of the Year, District II.
