

Dolores H. Yurmanovic passed peacefully to meet her Savior Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at St. Dominic Village in Houston, Texas at the age of 93. She was born in Detroit, Michigan to Leo and Leota Koch (Waun). Dolores is survived by her two sisters, Joyce Larkin and Nancy Guthrie, having lost her older brother, Leo Koch, and sister, Betty Davis.
Dolores, the mother of six, is survived by her three daughters, Kathy Renfrow, Diane Doletzky, and Geri Anne Wesolek. She was preceded in death by her three sons, David Franklin, Jeffrey Franklin, Steven Franklin, and her dearly beloved husband, Al Yurmanovic.
Dolores’ 13 grandchildren will really miss her amazing story-telling, spirited good humor, trips, and of course their favorite foods she loved to cook. She was ‘their’ Granny Doe, starting with Paul Raymond, Ben Raymond, Gabe Raymond, Scott Franklin, Rachel Honoway (Doletzky), James Doletzky, Jessica Phillips (Franklin), Kristine Offerman (Franklin), Jeffrey Franklin, Brienne Fabela (Wesolek), Stephanie Grimes (Wesolek), Noelle Andres (Wesolek) and Leah Wesolek. Also, there are now 23 great-grandchildren, most of them old enough to remember all the love and kisses they got from Granny Doe. Dolores was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt to many loving nieces and nephews, and a compassionate, dedicated, stellar nurse who loved serving others.
There will be a Rosary and Funeral Mass at St. Dominic Village Chapel, Houston, Texas on June 7, 2022. The Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. and the Mass at 10:00 a.m.
Also, there will be an Interment of Ashes Ceremony at St. Andrew the Apostle Columbarium Rose Garden in Saline, Michigan on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 1 p.m.
