Donna Kay Jones

With profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Donna Kay Jones on November 4th, 2024 in Houston Texas.

Donna was born on January 27th, 1964 to parents Robert and Barbara Shepard in Indianapolis, Indiana and graduated from Arlington High School. Donna earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and worked as a Patient Care Advocate in Houston where she lived with her daughter, Chyenne.

Donna was a devoted mother and grandmother who worked tirelessly to provide for her family. She valued spending time with her extended family members, regularly attending family vacations and holiday gatherings even traveling to do so. She was a devout believer in Jesus Christ and was steadfast in her faith through life’s ups and downs, daily praising and glorifying our Lord, declaring His holy name as the Savior of us all. Her entire family and many friends all bear witness to her vivacious spirit.

Preceded in death by her mother Barbara Shepard, father Robert Shepard, and brother Jonathan Shepard, she is survived by her children Tempia Shepard (Ivan Ingram), and Chyenne Jones; Grandchildren Ivanay Ingram, and Zaire Ingram; siblings Diane Beck (Mike Beck), Robert Harrison, Stacye Benjamin, and Virginia Huckleby.

Also bereaved are a number of beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, an Uncle, and many friends, some of them lifelong.

We will profoundly Miss Donna, but we give thanks that the Lord has received her unto Himself and given her eternal life.

A visitation for Donna will be held Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Paradise Funeral Home, Inc, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088. The funeral service will immediately follow from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Paradise Funeral Home, Inc, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088. The committal for Donna will be held immediately following from 3:45 PM to 4:00 PM at Paradise Funeral Home & Cemetery North, 10401 W Montgomery Rd, Houston, TX 77088
