She is predeceased by her parents and husband Bill Webster. She is survived by her sister Linda Schmidt and cousin Ron Sprague as well as a large group of dear friends who cherish her memory and the time spent with her in various walks of life. She was very proud to be claimed by the Willis family as “their third grandma.”
Donna’s career spanned 42 years with Shell Oil Company, first with their Chicago credit division and later with the pipeline group in Houston.
Among her many interests were a passion for cruises and international travel, much of which was with Friendship Force International where she made many lifelong friends. Other friendships grew through her 20 years service as a volunteer with Memorial Hermann Hospital, Business & Professional Women, P/CP…etc, En Amie Book Review Club, Desk & Derrick Club and the Downtowners Club.
A favorite annual event for many years was her trip to enjoy baseball spring training with her dear friend Nannette Elbert in Tucson and at their timeshares in Ruidoso. Donna dearly loved supporting the Arizona Diamondbacks and Chicago White Sox – and shopping for unique regional jewelry and gifts. She loved fashion and frequent trips to Draper’s & Damon’s for her latest wardrobe updates, always appearing perfectly coordinated and coiffed.
All who knew this unique and admirable lady marveled at her humor, intelligence, kindness, strength and determination to make the most of every day.
