Doris had a couple of loves in her life her family and friends, being outside, cooking and her babies. Her love for her family and friends speaks for its self. She made a difference in each person’s life, touching them in a special way.
Every day that Doris was able you would find her outside raking leaves, picking up sticks and limbs, and taking care of her livestock. Oh how she loved to keep busy, no idle hands on her.
She enjoyed feeding anyone that would eat. If you ever walked into her home you were offered love and warmth in the form of food. She always had something prepared to temp your taste buds and she was good, some say the best, in her talent of cooking.
She raised several puppies that grew to be her babies. She loved each one with all her heart. She treated them as they were human, each one. As some of you know she also added a baby goat to her list of babies that she hand fed and raised inside her home from birth to adult.
