Dorothy Marie Bohac

Dorothy was born to Edward and Sophie Kainer in 1931 in Weimer Texas. Raised on a dairy farm she enjoyed that life for many years with her siblings Eugene, Gertrude and George. In 1950, Dorothy met and married the man of her dreams Stanley Bohac; together they raised five children Linda, Janice, Larry, Jerrel, and Don. She was a caring wife and devoted mother; raising and guiding her children in the light of faith, family, and long lasting love.

Dorothy is preceded in death by husband Stanley Bohac and survived by her children Linda Bohac-Winders, Janice Camp and husband Donnie, Larry Bohac and wife Shanna, Jerrel Bohac and wife Nancy, Don Bohac and wife Rhonda. She was proud of all her grandchildren Tim Winders, Glenn Camp and wife Amy, Brien Camp and wife Mindy, Chris Bohac and wife Jamie, Jenny Adams and husband Jim Bob, Megan Stroud and husband Jake, Kyle Bohac and wife Kristen, Courtney Bohac and Cameron Bohac as well as her great grandchildren Peyton, Dylan, Luke, Colton, Taylor, Jaxson, Caroline, Everett, and Sydney. Numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A visitation for Dorothy will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A rosary will occur Tuesday, September 1, 2020 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. Refreshments will be served Tuesday, September 1, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, September 1, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A committal service will occur Tuesday, September 1, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
