88, passed away on September
10, 2010. She was born on December
15, 1921 in Kingfisher, Oklahoma to
Clarence Rufus and Harriet Steele.
Dorothy graduated from Oklahoma
University with a bachelors degree
in mathematics where she was
a Phi Beta Kappa.
In 1949, she married James Wilkerson.
She was known as a wonderful
cook seamstress and homemaker.
Dorothy is preceded in death by
her husband, James Wilkerson. She
is survived by her daughters, Mary
Thrapp and husband Dan, Anita
Maxwell and husband Earl; son,
James Wilkerson and wife Merlys;
grandchildren, Laura and husband
Byron, Richard, Adam, Robert, Samuel,
Sarah, Rebecca, Zachary, Ann
Marie and Abigail; great grandchildren,
Jeremy and Wesley.
Dorothy will always be remembered
as a loving wife, mother and
grandmother. We will love and miss
you always. Visitation for family and
friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at
Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. A funeral
service will be held at 3:00
P.M. on Wednesday, September 15,
2010 in the chapel at Memorial Oaks
Funeral Home. Interment to follow
at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
