On September 21, 2025, the world lost a remarkable man — Doyle Lafayette Rogers Jr., age 66. To his family, he was more than just a husband, father, and grandfather. He was the steady hand, the listening ear, and the heart that held everyone together.
Doyle was the beloved husband of Safriati Rogers, a devoted father to his two sons, Allen (33) and Jason (32), and a proud “Papa” to his three granddaughters, Bella, Emori, and Madeline Rogers. Nothing brought him greater joy than being surrounded by his family — whether it was sharing meals, telling stories, or simply enjoying the everyday moments that became cherished memories.
He was known for his kindness, wisdom, and quick wit. Doyle had a way of making people feel seen and understood, often listening more than he spoke, but always sharing just the right words when they were needed most. His stories and laughter filled every room he entered, leaving warmth long after he walked out.
Doyle’s life was built on devotion — to his family, to his friends, and to anyone who needed his strength. He showed up without question, offered love without condition, and carried himself with a quiet strength that inspired those around him.
Though his time here feels far too short, Doyle’s legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the lessons he taught, and the love he poured so freely into others. He leaves behind a family who will carry his memory always, and a reminder to all of us to live fully, love deeply, and never take a single moment for granted.
