Duane was born in Houston, TX on July 22, 1952 to Robert “Bob” and Mary Koudelka. He spent his young life growing up in Granger, TX and then later in Houston, TX. He loved playing baseball.
As an adult Duane was a loyal employee at Westinghouse/Eaton Electrical where he worked as an Electrical Assembler for 40 years until he retired. He made many life-long friends at his job over the years.
In his spare time Duane enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting. But Duane’s main joy in his life were his daughters. As they grew older and started playing soccer you would find Duane at the soccer fields every weekend. He would always be found at the corner flag of whichever goal his daughter was in. He took great pride in the fact that both of his daughters were able to play soccer in college.
Later in life Duane was a very proud grandfather. He loved watching his grandkids play sports and just spending time watching them all play and grow together.
Duane is preceded in death by his parents Robert Antone Koudelka and Mary Emma Koudelka. He is survived by daughters Heather and husband Mike Sgro and Kristi and husband Bradley Bludau. Grandchildren Jacob, Olivia, James, and Savannah. He is also survived by his brother David and wife Pam Koudelka and nephew Kevin Koudelka and niece Stephanie Stanton and their families.
The Inurnment will take place at Klein Memorial Park Cemetery 32539 SH249 Pinehurst, TX 77362.
