

Duc Minh Ngo, a beloved father, and member of the community, passed away on June 15, 2023, at the age of 75. Born on February 15, 1948, in Saigon, Vietnam, Duc was the son ofMui Thi Le and Ly Quang Ngo. He grew up in a large family with five brothers and four sisters, who shared many cherished memories together.
Duc is survived by his only son, Quan Anh Ngo, wife, Stephanie, who was the pride and joy of his life. He is also survived by Quan's mother, Hai Hang Ngo, with whom he shared a deep and enduring love. Duc was a grandfather to his two grandchildren, Audrey Janessa and Tyson Jordan Ngo, and two step-grandchildren, Brian DeLane, and Stephen Andrew Nicholson.
In Vietnam, Duc worked as an airport traffic controller, a position that earned him the admiration and respect of his friends and colleagues. Known for his strong work ethic and unwavering dedication, Duc was a shining example of integrity, loyalty, and a provider for his family.
During the tumultuous times of the Vietnam War, Duc faced unimaginable hardships when he was captured by the Northern Vietnamese. After his release, he knew that he had to seek a new life in the United States. However, before embarking on this journey, Duc fell deeply in love with Hai. Duc, a true romantic at heart, paid tribute to her family and expressed his affection in a beautiful setting in Vietnam. In a testament to their enduring love, Duc proposed to Hai, and they were married shortly after.
In 1979, Duc and Hai bravely escaped Vietnam, seeking a better life in the United States. They settled in Spring Branch, Texas, where they built a life of resilience and hope. Duc had an insatiable appetite for good food and relished in Vietnamese cuisine and Chinese buffets, enjoying the flavors that reminded him of his homeland. He also had a passion for tennis and spent countless Saturdays with Quan, ice chest in tow, playing matches with his friends.
Duc was a firm but loving father, known for his strict rules on cleanliness and morality. He instilled in his son the values of hard work, discipline, and doing what was right. Duc's Dedication to his family was unparalleled, and he cherished every moment spent together.
While Duc had dark struggles, he leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and perseverance. His memory will forever be cherished by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. He will be remembered as a good father, a hardworking professional, and a beacon of integrity.
