

Dustin “Dusty” Lawrence Ridge, 57, of Spring, Texas, unexpectedly passed away February 7, 2026.
Dusty was born May 16, 1968, in Bakersfield, California to Marlin Dell and Virginia (Ginger) Marilyn Ridge.
He grew up in Tuolumne Co, Northern California. Dusty graduated from Sonora High School in 1986. He worked a few years on a fishing vessel in Alaska; he went on to work in the EMS field as an EMT in the Bay Area of California. Later working in the Oil & Gas industry in Texas, performing various roles from oilfield geology (mudlogging) to Measurements/Logging while drilling (M/LWD) for Baker Hughes Company. Due to an injury he sustained in the Oil and Gas industry, which rendered him permanently disabled, he lived out his life at home in Spring, Texas.
Dusty enjoyed online gaming, and in his earlier years, he enjoyed boating and fishing. He also enjoyed the company of his faithful Shih Tzu, Sosume.
He is survived by his son Christopher Ridge, his fiancé Hannah Bailo, and grandson Myles Ridge. His step daughter Daizia Hoholik. Brother Martin and his wife Eva Ridge. Niece Sarah Vinklarek. Niece Meagan Gardner, great nephew Jordan Gardner, great nieces Kayleigh, Ashlynn, and Shirlee Gardner. Niece Ashley Nicole (Nikki) and husband Braden Stroud, great Niece Mikah Stroud and great nephews Mickey and Miles Stroud. He is also survived by his faithful companion Sosume (dog).
He was preceded in death by Parents Marlin D. Ridge and Virginia M. Ridge (Shaeffer). Grandparents Amal and Velma Shaeffer, Lawerence and Bonnie Ridge. Renita Flatt (mother of his son Christopher).
Dusty will be remembered for his generosity to others. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
