Mr. Dwayne William Norris

Dwayne was born on the 2nd of April 1964 in Houston, Texas, the son of Coley Norris and Georgiana Craver Norris. Dwayne was an active and proud Houston Fire Fighter for 24 years. He worked at many stations throughout his career and with station 77 being his last. He very nearly met his goal of working at a different station for each year of service. All will truly miss his zest for life. Dwayne’s loud, boisterous, fun loving attitude often gave everybody he met a smile. A true Hero, husband, father, brother, friend to all, has left us way too soon. You can bet he’s smiling, laughing and looking down at us from heaven carrying on as he did every day.

Dwayne was preceded in death by his parents Coley (Dub) and Georgiana Norris, and brother-in-law Randy O’Guynn. Dwayne is survived by his wife of 15 years Carol Sue O’Guynn Norris; daughter Kayce Kathleen Norris; step-daughter Tiffany Dunlap; sister Linda Seigle and spouse Mark; brother Chris Norris; nephews Zachary Norris, Christopher Norris, Connor O’Guynn; niece Abigail O’Guynn; in-laws Kelly and Sandra O’Guynn, Connie O’Guynn, Don and Edie O’Guynn, and Kim Schilling.
