Hi Sharon and family.  I have wonderful childhood memories of all the time I spent at your house with your loving family.  Both of your parents were so special and I'm grateful to all of my surrogate mothers and fathers of Spring Branch in the 50s.  Earl and Sadie are at the top of the list.

My sincere condolences to the family at this most difficult time. May the God of all comfort provide you with whatever is needed so you can cope with your great loss. Psalms 83 : 18.

Mr. Gilbert's service Friday was a beautiful tribute to a grand man.  I only knew him a third of a century, but what a charming, delightful family man he was.

Sadie and Earl are together again.Sadie was Earls greatest Love of his life and they will be together for Eternity.

I'm so sorry for your loss. The death of a loved one can truly be a devastating time. Whenever I experience trying times like this, I think of Phillipians4:6,7 where it encourages us to turn to God in prayer and he will give us "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding." I hope this can bring you some measure of comfort.
