

Earl Taylor was born on June 19, 1940 in Beaumont, Texas to the late Onie Mae Conley and Willie Conley. He was educated in Beaumont School District. Taylor begin working at an early age after a while he received his CDL License and begin his trade as a Truck Driver for the company named D.S.L and Builders Supply (he loved his trade). Shortly afterwards he met and married Virginia Lee Taylor, they parented two lovely daughters Valerie and Tami. Earl Taylor accepted Christ under the leadership of the late Pastor Mc Henderson of Christ Missionary Baptist church. He served and was ordained Deacon later ordained as Minister and eventually ordained as Pastor Earl Taylor of Christ Missionary Baptist Church. Christ Missionary Baptist Church members voted on the dissolution of their church and Reverend Taylor joined New Jerusalem Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Myers Sr. Reverend Taylor was on the Minister Board where he preached sermons, taught mission and mentored many in the Word, until he could no longer attend due to his health. People would come and sit with him for hours to listen to Reverend Taylor’s Biblical and Life teachings. Earl Taylor departed this life on August 21, 2016 peacefully. Earl Taylor is preceded in death by his parents Onie Mae Conley and Willie Conley; his wife Virginia Taylor and his Daughter Tami Taylor; two brothers Harold Conley and Rickey Conley and two sisters Patsy Coleman and Charlie M. Scott. Earl Taylor is survived by his daughter Valerie Richardson and son-in law Billy Richardson; three grandchildren: Billy Ray Richardson (Daphne), Toni Richardson, Whitney Akpobo (Yomanoh); five great grandchildren Ryan and Jordan Richardson, Tye Cortez, Zanah and Yomanoh Akpobo Jr.; two sisters, Alma Dixon of Texas City, Texas and Doris Humphrey (Manuel) of Dallas, Texas. A Host of Nieces, Nephews, family members and friends.
