Born on July 17, 1962, Edith faced many hardships early in life, losing her mother at the age of 12 and her father at 22. These experiences shaped her into the strong, resilient woman her family came to rely on and admire deeply.
In 1983, she married the love of her life, Godofredo “Ghods” Sagun. Together, they built a life centered around faith, hard work, and family.
She took up Chemical Engineering at Holy Angel University and later became a successful businesswoman in the Philippines, managing ventures in agriculture, veterinary supplies, food, and tilapia farming. After migrating to the United States in 2016, she continued to serve others through her work as an assistant nutritionist at Houston Methodist Hospital.
Edith was known for her firm yet loving parenting, her impeccable sense of style, and her boundless energy. She especially loved harvesting vegetables from her garden lovingly tended by her husband and turning them into heartwarming meals for her family.
Edith leaves behind a legacy of love, sacrifice, and strength that will continue to guide her loved ones. Edith is survived by her husband, their children Suzette, Marydette, and Gian Carlo, and her beloved grandchildren Isabel, Ryu, Kyrie, and Juliette.
Her memory will be cherished always, and her presence missed beyond words.
