Edna "Nena" Allen

She went to be with The Lord on February 2nd, 2014.

Nena was an incredible Wife, Sister, Aunt and Mother to all of us, she will be missed everyday. She touched us all with her Love, her kindness and her words of wisdom for our everyday life. She had a strong Faith in God and loved traveling the World with her husband Jim.

Nena loved to live , have fun and to celebrate together with Family and friends, making memories that will be carried in all of hearts for our lifetime.

Nena was survived by the Love of her life, her husband Jim Allen of almost 37years this May.

She is also survived by her sister Wanda Power and her Husband Tom Power, Brother Richard van der Dys Sr. , she absolutely loved and adored her nieces,nephews and Great nieces and nephews. Her Nephew Greg Power and his Wife Carol and there two kids Paul and Analise, her nephew Otto van der Dys III and his wife Stephanie and two kids Erika and Alex, her Nephew Frank Power and his son Blake, her niece Brenda van der Dys, her nephew Richard van der Dys Jr. and wife Elena and there kids Richard van der Dys III and his wife Heather, Allysandra, Stephanie and Lyman, her Niece Miriam ( Marcy ) Luciani and her two kids Stacey and Michael, her nephew Andres van der Dys and wife Sophia and there two kids Tristan and Alexia, niece Mary Alice van der Dys and her four kids, and has an extended Family all around the World.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 7, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Chapel at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 12:30 pm in the Chapel at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
