She was a graduate of Milby High School in 1950. The same year she married Floyd, her high school sweetheart and the love of her life. Mrs. Hightower was employed by Sears Corp. and retired after 19 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Floyd Hightower. Left to cherish Edna’s memory are her son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Beverly Hightower; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Alan Wilson; grandchildren Kristina Stafford and husband, Sidney, Bradley Wilson, Bryce Wilson.
The family will receive friends the evening of February 15th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home Champions. Funeral services will follow the next day Friday, February 16th at 10:00 a.m.
Private graveside services will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
