Edward (Eddie) Neale Mayes, originally of Houston, Texas passed away on November 17, 2024, at the age of 78. He was born on December 27, 1945, in Houston, Texas.
He graduated from Kincaid High School and attended the University of Houston. He worked as a television cameraman and in the oil field, eventually becoming a serial entrepreneur.
He is preceded in death by his Parents, George and Loyce Mayes. He is survived by his brother George Mayes (and sister-in-law Phyllis), by his nephew John Mayes (Rebecca), his niece Mary Edwards (Shannon) and his great niece and nephews, Sydney, Baxter and Casey.
The family would like to thank Brookdale Assisted Living in Lewisville, Texas for the care and compassion they showed Eddie in his final days. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Forest Park Westheimer on December 7, 2024 at 2pm.
