Edward graduated from Smiley High School in 1979. About a year later, he started working as an apprentice electrician and worked toward earning his Journeyman license. His electrical career spanned 45 years working throughout the greater Houston area wiring electrical panels, installing stadium lights, and operating bucket trucks. Even after he retired from Ohms Electric, after almost 20 years, he returned to work part-time in the warehouse helping to fulfill supply requests and completing paperwork. He took great pride in the commercial projects he completed throughout the years, and always took his paperwork seriously.
Edward was a loving father to his two daughters Victoria and Alexandra, and son Christopher. The family enjoyed camping at state parks, listening to oldies music in the car ride to Sunday mass, and life on Mistflower Street. He affectionately called the kids his Fatima children.
Edward had a very contrary spirit. He marched to the beat of his own drum. He had a special connection to the older members of his family, always making time to visit them or help them.
He will be remembered for being a loving father and a loyal friend.
Edward is preceded in death by his son Christopher, mother Emily, father Marshall, sisters Mary Francis and Valentina and brother Carlos. He is survived by his daughters Victoria and Alexandra, and 11 grandchildren Anthony, Julia, Jackson, Christopher, Emily, Connor, Gemma, Adrian, Benjamin, Joseph, and Joshua, second mother Consuelo, brothers Vincent, Dennis, Marshall John, Arthur, Alfred and Tim, sisters Christina and Marina.
