Edwin Joe Jozwiak

Born in Hempstead, Texas on September 9, 1935 to Willie and Ladislava Jozwiak. He lived a full and vibrant life. Edwin proudly served his country in the Marine Corps and later dedicated 25 years to a fulfilling career as the owner of Stainless and Alloy Fittings.

Ed was kindhearted and a man of integrity, generosity, and an easy-going spirit. He had very strong values and was well liked by everyone mostly due to his positive energy.

A man of deep passion, Ed found joy in fishing, gardening, traveling, and spending time with his family. He also loved to have a cold beer while playing slot machines at the casinos. He was a devout Catholic and very proud of his Polish heritage. It wasn’t unusual for Ed to break out and sing a verse of “Siwy Konik”.

Edwin is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Martha; his children and their spouses, Jim Jozwiak and Massiel Salesi, Cathy and Richard Velez, JoAnn and Tim Burke; his grandchildren and spouses, Michelle and Terry Hipp, Trevor and Brooke Baham, Daniel and Katelyn Martens, Samantha and Travis Willingham; his great-grandchildren, Maddox, Baker, Easton, Terry, Kinsley, Tommy, and Palmer.

Also surviving are his siblings and spouses, Dorothy and Ike Jozwiak, Bibian and Lawrence Wisnoski, Mary Mattern, Margie Jozwiak, Hattie Mikes, Jeanie Jozwiak, Mary Konieczny, and numerous nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents and in-laws, Willie and Ladislava Jozwiak, Joe and Bernice Konieczny; grandson, Kevin Jozwiak; siblings and their spouses, Sarah and Bernard Budnick, Natalie and Louis Kendziora, Isidore Jozwiak, Monica and Marion Loukanis, Bennie Mikes, Willie Mattern, VJ Jozwiak, Florian and Dorothy Konieczny, Joe Konieczny, Mike Konieczny; and nephews and nieces.

We take comfort in knowing that Ed touched so many lives with kindness, strength, and love.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, funeral services will be private.
