Nacido el 18 de marzo de 1954, Efrain fue un hombre amado y entrañablemente querido, cuya vida se distinguió por la bondad de corazón, la honestidad y una lealtad firme hacia los suyos y hacia su fe. Residente de Houston, Texas, deja una huella serena y perdurable en todos quienes tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.

En sus primeros años en El Salvador, Efrain trabajó en el campo y montó a caballo, experiencias que forjaron en él un espíritu trabajador, fuerte e independiente. Efrain Cruz Ruiz, age 72, passed away on August 6, 2026. Born on March 18, 1954, Efrain was a beloved and cherished husband, grandfather, and friend whose life was marked by devotion, loyalty, and a steady, kind-hearted presence that will be deeply missed.

In his early years, Efrain learned the value of honest, hard-working days—working the fields and riding horses in El salvador. Those foundations shaped a man known for strength and independence, and for the quiet determination of someone who set goals and followed them through.

Efrain was married to Elvia Ruiz for 51 years, a faithful partnership built on enduring love and steadfast commitment. He treasured time with his grandkids, and those moments reflected the compassionate heart that guided him throughout his life.

A devoted man of faith, Efrain believed in God with all his heart. He offered that faith in service to others, visiting the sick and offering communion, and he consistently helped at Assumption Catholic Church—especially through the many annual festival events that bring a parish together. In these acts, his kindness and sincerity spoke more powerfully than words.
