Elneta Latson

Jeff Stephens and Phebia Robinson had a beautiful daughter Elneta born on November 24, 1922, in Marshall, Texas. Beginning in Childhood, Elneta was such a caring, and loving person that her siblings would tease her because she would not go to sleep until everyone was home even though she was one of the younger children. At an early age, Elneta found comfort in learning all she could about God. God became the single most important accomplishment throughout her life. She spent the majority of her adult life in the church where she found solace. This love for God was instilled in each of her children and continued throughout her life.

In 1940, she met the love of her life, Charlie Latson. To this union were born 10 children: Charline Green, George Latson, Evelyn Wise, Mack Latson, Charlie Latson, Jr., Joseph Latson, Harold Latson, Anthony Latson, Keith Latson and Edward Latson all of whom she loved dearly. (George, Evelyn, Mack, Charlie Jr., her husband and two grandchildren Sade and Harold Jr., precede her in death).

She leaves to mourn her passing her children, Charline, Joseph, Harold, Anthony, Keith and Edward; and a host of grandkids, great grandkids and great great grandkids.

A funeral service for Elneta will be held Friday, March 11, 2022 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Paradise Funeral Home, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 3:45 PM to 3:59 PM at Paradise Cemetery North, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088.
