Ms. Emma M Flores, age 94, of Houston, Texas passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021 surrounded by family in her home. She was born November 10, 1926 to Luciano & Teresa Flores and was the fifth child of nine children.
She lived in second ward all of her years. Started working at a young age for Real Tailors and later for Leopold, Price and Rolle where she received many awards. Emma was a top seamstress.
Emma was loving and caring to her family, friends and neighbors. We remember her as a happy person, full of laughter & through life traveled with her good friends Josephine and Delia. And she also toured many places with her family. She was a fun and adventurous traveling companion. We won't forget her love of dancing & music. Emma loved Big Band Music and The Cha Cha.
Emma was a devout Roman Catholic and loved her faith. She enjoyed going to Church. Was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe for many years and when unable to go as she got older, she watched EWTN for Mass and Rosary faithfully everyday.
The loss of Emma is difficult. We will miss her tremoundously, & her welcoming spirit in the Flores home which holds so many memories for all her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents Luciano and Teresa Flores & siblings Isabel Trevino(Domingo), Inocencia Molina(Joe), Antonia, Roy Flores(Gloria), Joe Flores(Velma).,
Emma is survived by sister Elva Lopez, brother Valentine Flores(Louise), sister Mary Rodriguez(Roberto) and numerous neices and nephews.
