Emma Jane Peacock

Emma Jane Peacock of Katy, was born on the 3rd of December 2005. Emma Jane’s gentle spirit and natural beauty made her irresistible. She returned to Heaven Saturday morning, the 7th of December 2013. She left the arms of her parents and entered the arms of God.

Emma Jane loved her school, Odessa Kilpatrick Elementary. Mrs. Sherri Hayes shared lessons with our little Angel giving her new experiences for which we are deeply grateful. Special love for Emma Jane also came from her caregivers Elizabeth Gabriel and Sonja Rodriguez who loved her gently and shared many tender moments with her. Emma Jane also enjoyed Chapelwood’s Circle of Friends Sunday School.

There were so many things Emma Jane enjoyed. She really loved a noisy commotion and the laughter of her friends and other children. She enjoyed going to the country, breezes in her beautiful auburn hair and the warm waters of Florida on her porcelain skin. Her bright blue eyes were captivating.

Emma is predeceased by her grandfather, Marvin Peacock of Florida; and her great grandmother and grandfather, Jane and Lester Prokop of Houston. Emma is survived by her parents, Greg and Kelli Peacock; and her little brother, Gregory West Peacock. She is also survived her grandmother, Leslie Prokop Teel and Gerald Teel; and her grandmother, Fleeta Peacock. Emma had many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly and meant so much to her. Our family is sincerely grateful to all those people who created a bubble of love and gentle care for our sweet Angel during her eight years.

The funeral service is to be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, the 10th of December, in the chapel of Chapelwood United Methodist Church, 11140 Greenbay Street in Houston.
